Abstract
This research aimed to know students’ correlation between motivation and students’ English achievement. The form of this study is quantitative research. This research intended to find out students’ correlation between motivation in their learning English. The subject of the study was the 9 th grade of SMPS Pelita Nusantara Tanjungpinang. The researcher fill in the blank questionaire, the nontest used as additional instrument. Based on the result, the students categorized into average to strong correlation. It can be seen from the mean score of the students was 90 from 20 students.
