Abstract

The most significance to correspondence and connection with numerous individuals is language. Correspondence is trade of back rubs that can't be isolated from life, particularly from the educating and learning measure. One of them is in language learning exercises. The utilizing of order discourse acts in understudy discussions in understudy action practice is one in the utilization of different types of language. Through directive speech act acts understudies can rehearse how discourse acts can be utilized in learning while at the same time talking exercises. The writer conducted the research based on one research problems. The Problem is What are the types of directive speech acts in students' speaking activities at MTs Miftahul U'lum eighth grade Tanjung Pinang? Based on the research problem, the result of the research has shown that there are eleven of direct speech act in student’s speaking activities at MTs Miftahul U'lum eighth grade Tanjung Pinang. There were 2 directive speech act of asking, 2 directive speech act of prohibiddings, 3 directive speech act of commandings, 14 directive speech act of questions, 1 directive speech act of inviting, 5 directive speech act of orderings, 2 directive speech act of requestings, 5 directive speech act of suggesting, 1 directive speech act of apprise, 2 directive speech act of dismissings and 1 directive speech act of warning
