Abstract
Blended learning becomes an alternative learning program in the school that the students should be adapted to during the pandemic. In the implementation, the students face difficulties in the English course, especially in learning grammar. Their grammar mastery is low and there are no instructional media specifically used for learning grammar in the English class for online and offline sessions. This research aims to design instructional media for learning grammar in English course that can be used in blended learning. This study focuses on recount text and narrative text materials. The participants of this research are 22 students of X MIPA 3 in SMAN 5 Tanjungpinang. The design of this research is Research and Development (R&D) by using Thiagarajan et al. adapted model, that is 3-D which consists of (1) define, (2) design, and (3) develop. The process in qualitative data is collected from the teacher questionnaire, students’ experiences questionnaire, experts validation sheets, practicality test questionnaire, while quantitative data collection is collected from the students’ need analysis questionnaire. The result of the study shows that Grammar Cards Website is feasible to be used as instructional media in English grammar learning for 10th grade students in blended learning. Grammar Cards Website instructional media is easy, attractive, and useful.
