Abstract

This research intended to design educative content on Tiktok as a teaching medium for learning descriptive text as grade 7. This research was Conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Singkep Selatan, Kabupaten Lingga, Provinsi Kepri for the 2022/2023 academic year in class VII , with a total of 17 students as research subjects. This research was Research and Development (R&D). The development model used was the Thiagarajan model, which is 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The data collection instrument used were questionnaires consist of expert validation questionnaires, and student practicality questionnaires. The results of data analysis showed that the score of media validation was 100% with "very good / very valid," and the score of material validation was 91% with "very good/very valid." Then, the score of the media trial for students to see the practicality of the media is 94% with " Very practical." The Content on TikTok as Teaching Media is valid and useful for students to understand English learning materials, especially on descriptive text.
