Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of installing electrical installations in the faculty building, whether the installation and selection are in accordance with the standard puil rules. by using the field observation method to take data directly in the faculty room. Based on the results of field observations at the Faculty building there were several problems found such as scattered cables that were not given safety, materials used did not comply with PUIL 2011 standards, cable connections in junction boxes were not closed so that they could cause current leakage and could endanger people around the building, the position/height of sockets and light switches were not up to standard.
