Abstract

Social solidarity is solidarity refers to a state of relationship between individuals and or groups based on shared moral feelings and beliefs reinforced by shared emotional experiences. Solidartas is divided into two parts that is, mechanical soidarity is the bond that unites individuals by being high collective consciousness so that individuals resemble one another, whereas organic solidarity is characterized by heterogeneity and individuality the higher that individuals differ from one another. Interaction between one trader with another trader has an effect on solidarity capable of sustaining the business continuity of traders. The author draws a problem that will be examined, namely how solidarity is formed and what are the driving factors that will form this solidarity. To see the solidarity that exists between street vendors in Taman Batu 10, Tanjungpinang city, we can look at the mechanical and organic solidarity from Emile Durhkeim. Then through forms of solidarity, social groups, and paradigms of social behavior. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach, the purpose of this study is to find out how solidarity is established between street vendors. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. With the descriptive method with a qualitative approach, the data analysis technique is carried out through three stages, namely, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result of his research is a form of street vendor solidarity that is due to the same work in a group of street vendors. Mechanical solidarity is built because of the togetherness between groups of traders, mutual dependence, collective awareness and others, problem solving is carried out through thorough deliberation and a sense of dependence between traders and traders both in inner closeness. The conclusion is that solidarity is formed in the middle of Taman Batu 10 street vendors because they work in the same field, homogeneity and social implications in the street vendors group Keyword: Solidarity, Street Vendors, Rock garden 10
