Abstract

The abuse of aibon glue or ngelem among teenagers in Bugis Village, ngelem hasbecome a trend, if someone ngelem is considered cool and slang. The cheap priceand easy way to get Aibon glue is one of them. Gluing can provide a sensation offlying, comfort and calm. Nagging is caused by wrong relationships, economicshocks, and estrangement between parents and children resulting in a lack of communication, love and attention. The aim of this research is to find out thecause of the condition of anomie that occurs in slow behavior which cannot beovercome in Bugis Village, Tanjungpinang City. This research uses descriptivequalitative research by determining informants based on the snowbell samplingtechnique. The results of this research show that the sluggish behavior carried outby Bugis village teenagers is caused by negative social factors, the strainedrelationship between children and parents, as well as community environmentalfactors. There is a change in the behavior of children after and before suckingglue, as before, teenagers are diligent in doing school work, help their parents and don't like going against their parents, but since sucking glue, teenagers tend tobecome lazy, like going against their parents and teenagers should go to schooland play. but instead fell into something dangerous. People are starting to feelrestless and disturbed by the slow behavior so that people are starting to becomeapathetic about the slow behavior carried out by teenagers and the community.Society ostracizes teenagers who are addicted to glue and parents whose children are addicted. The conclusion from this research is that teenagers are at an age ofsearching for identity, so the role of parents and the environment is very important in the development of teenagers, in the theory of anomie society is temporarilyunable to carry out effective social control, which is marked by an increase inanomie.
