Abstract

Mabung Island is one of the remote islands in Lingga Regency, precisely in Pasir Panjang Village, Bakung Serumpun District. The community of Mabung Island is still very simple with various shortcomings, namely public transportation, electricity, limited network in accesing basic needs. This condition makes the Mabung Island Community feel solidarity in obtaining this access. The aim of this research is to look at froms of community solidarity on Mabung Island. The theory used is mechanical and organic solidarity by Emile Durkheim. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The techniques used are observation and interview. The result of his research are a form of solidarity from the people of Mabung Island, namely mutual coorperation which is carried out by the community every week to clean the streets, mosques and cemeteries, then coorperation carried out by the people of Mabung Island in helping when there are weddings, then mutual help which is carried out by the community when there are people in trouble.
