Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the use of Duolingo as a medium to support students' listening skills. Conducted in December 2024, this research took place at Raja Ali Haji Maritime University, involving all Raja Ali Haji Maritime University students. The research participants were 53 students, and this research focused on their perceptions about using Duolingo as a medium to support students' listening skills. This qualitative research collects data through observation, questionnaires and open-ended questions. The findings show that students believe the use of Duolingo as a medium to support students' listening skills, helps them practice listening skills more easily. Therefore, it is recommended to use Duolingo.
