Abstract

This research examines students' perceptions of using Wordwall media as an English subject formative assessment at SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungpinang. The subjects of This research are 36 students from class X.6 of SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungpinang in the 2024 academic year. The data collection method employs questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires were distributed to ascertain students' perceptions, and interviews were conducted to obtain detailed responses, thus allowing the researchers to more accurately describe and analyze students' perceptions toward the use of Wordwall Educational Website as an English subject formative assessment. This research indicates that most students are interested in using Wordwall as an English subject formative assessment because it is easy to use, has an attractive design, and has various questions that make students want to use it. It can be concluded that Wordwall Educational can be used as a formative assessment of English subjects.
