Abstract

The researcher analysed the students' skills in writing paragraphs in a way to get conclusions or represent the data the researcher calculates all scores. The researcher concluded that the students' ability to write paragraphs was included in the good category. It was proven that there were 35 students who fell into this category with the highest score of 100 and the lowest score of 65. Then, there were 23 students who were included in the very good category with the highest score of 90-100, and there were only 2 students who were included in the moderate category who got 75. Based on data representation in this study, students' ability to write paragraphs is good. In addition, based on the results of the study, the researcher can conclude that the students' weaknesses in writing paragraphs are in the vocabulary aspect. It can be seen that the highest scores achieved by students from 90-100 were 23 students (60.52%), with good scores from 80-89 were 11 students (28.94%), with sufficient scores from 60-69 there were 2 students (5 .26%), and with a value not passed from 0-69 there are 2 students (5.26%).Based on the data representation in this study, the students' ability to write paragraphs was good.
