Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and describe how the Management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Kuala Sejahtera in terms of Planning, Organizing, Implementation/Activation, and Supervision in Kuala Maras Village, Jemaja Timur District, Anambas Islands Regency in 2019-2021. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with 5 (five) informants and uses data collection techniques and tools in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the management of the Kuala Sejahtera Village Owned Enterprise (BUMDe) in Kuala Maras Village, Jemaja Timur District, Anambas Islands Regency in 2019-2021 has not proceeded as expected, which is seen from a planning perspective, BUMDes Kuala Sejahera from the start of the management of the 2019-2021 business plan not running as it should. In terms of organization, the management of BUMDes Kuala Sejahtera is still lacking in every business unit, as stated by the head of the clean water unit who feels overwhelmed managing the clean water unit alone. In terms of Mobilization/Implementation, the Kuala Sejahtera BUMDes submitted a Proposal for additional capital to the Village Government but it has not been realized. In terms of supervision, the BPD must always monitor the performance of the BUMDes and immediately urge the village head to add capital to BUMDes Kuala Sejahtera. The BUMDes evaluation is carried out once a year, making BPD performance not optimal in terms of supervision and there are still business units that are not active. Keywords: BUMDes, management.
