Abstract
This research aimed to find out whether or not there was a correlation between students’ willingness to communicate, vocabulary mastery, and pronunciation toward speaking skill at eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Tanjungpinang. This research used a quantitative, correlational design to find that relationship. The population of this study was 448 students. The sample in this study obtained by the cluster random sampling method was XI MIPA 5 class, which consisted of 38 students. The instruments used to obtain data were online tests and questionnaires. The tests were vocabulary test consisted of 20 questions by using the Google Form platform, recorded pronunciation and speaking tests (in the form of monologue), and an online questionnaire that also used Google Form, which consisted of 19 statements with five choices in each statement. Data analysis was in the form of normality t est, homogeneity test, linearity test, bivariate test, multiple correlation equation, and hypothesis test. Based on the results of data analysis, a multiple regression equation was obtained 0.34, in which the alternative hypothesis was accepted, and it could be said that there was a low correlation between students’ willingness, vocabulary mastery, and pronunciation toward speaking skills of eleventh grade students.
