Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence income for independent marine fish cultivators in Pengujan Village, Dusun III, Teluk Bintan District, Bintan Regency. The population of this study are fish cultivators in Pengujan village. The sampling method for this study used purposive sampling and obtained 1 sample that met the criteria used in this study. This study used SPSS 25. The research period was from 2019 to September 2022. The results of the SPSS test used showed that 1) Cost Seeds have a significant value of 0.005 < 0.05 tcount 2.955 > ttable 2.01954. 2) Feed costs have a significance level value of 0.036 < 0.05, while for tcount 2.166 > ttable 2.01954. 3) Labor costs have a significance level value of 0.284 > 0.05, while the -tcount value is 1.086 < ttable 2.01954. The results of the test for the coefficient of determination show that the dependent variable, namely cultivator income, can be explained by the independent variables, namely seed costs, feed costs and labor costs by 51.8% while the remaining 48.2% is explained by other variables not explained in this study.
