Abstract

This study aims to determine students’ perceptions of Baamboozle media in learning English vocabulary offline learning. The participants in this study were students of class nine f at SMPN 12 Tanjungpinang. This research uses qualitative research methods, with research instruments using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that the use of Baamboozle can help students increase motivation, engagement, interest, usefulness, improvement, ease, and facilitate students in mastering vocabulary with a fairly high percentage of agreeing and more dominant with the good category. Thus it can be concluded that students’ perceptions of the face-to-face use of Baamboozle in learning English vocabulary are in the good category and have a positive influence.
