Abstract

This study aims to design a wordwall for learning in grade seventh of SMPN 5 Tanjungpinang. This research design is Research and Development based on the ADDIE model. ADDIE stands for Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. As a result, using ADDIE is a way to organize the general procedures associated with instructional design. In this study, the researcher used both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Data were obtained from interviews with English teachers, validation sheets, and questionnaires of students' perceptions of the product. The findings of this study, reveals that seventh-grade students need learning media to make students interested in the learning process. The researcher designed a wordwall and got a good response from material and media experts. The results of the wordwall validation sheet were declared valid after the researchers made revisions to the media provided by the media expert. Wordwall is categorized as very feasible because it gets a percentage value of “84.37%” for validation material and “92.50%” for validation media. Wordwall is also categorized as very practical with a percentage of “89.91%”.
